Your guide to visiting Perivale Wood this April.

Our biggest challenge this year has been to open Perivale Wood to the public without endangering anyone’s health. In previous years, we have had thousands of visitors on a single Open Day but having such an event this year, with the Covid restrictions, is really not feasible. We want to share the beauty of the reserve with our neighbours and supporters but to do so safely. Our plan, therefore, is to open the reserve to the public on four separate days in April, with tickets sold via Eventbrite (click on the Morning or Afternoon links in the following list to visit the Eventbrite page for those visitor slots):

Admission will be by these pre-booked tickets only, with limits on the number of people per slot – making for a better experience of Perivale Wood – and all money raised will go to looking after the reserve. The admission charge will be £5 per adult (£3 concessions), with accompanied children aged under 16 allowed in for free.

Because of the Government’s rules for such events, our famous refreshments stall will only be open after 12th April but there will be information about the reserve on display, and the opportunity to become a member of the Selborne Society.

Regretfully, no dogs or other pets are allowed, except in the case of registered assistance animals.
